<h4>1、Summary Instruction</h4>
<p>The video function has high requirements for the disk, in the selection of disk, need from the disk capacity, working temperature range, disk speed, work stability, flash media erase times and other parameters, to make a comprehensive assessment of the disk, choose the right model of disk, try to avoid affecting the reliability of the video. If you choose an unsuitable disk, there will exist video instability, short working life of the disk and other problems, the existence of video missing at key time nodes, seriously affecting the value of the installation of monitoring equipment, and even bring disputes and other problems.</p>

<h3>II. Self-Selection</h3>
<h4>1、Necessary condition</h4>
<p>(1) The disk interface is consistent with the storage interface of the device.
(2) Disk capacity can meet the actual application requirements, video code rate size and disk occupancy, please refer to the instructions in the [Comparison table of code rate and frame rate/quality](<a href="http://118.195.179.210:9000/web/#/11/272">http://118.195.179.210:9000/web/#/11/272</a> "Comparison table of code rate and frame rate/quality") section.
(3) Disk operating temperature range needs to match the scenario, cold areas need to use hard disk drives with heating function, TF/SD cards need to use industrial grade specifications.
(4) Disk speed needs to be stable and exceed the size of the bit rate generated by the video, the "test instructions" section details the speed test method.
(5) Flash media storage devices, need to have a certain number of erasures. If the number of erasures is low, it is easy to damage.</p>
<h4>2、Test Description</h4>
<h5>2.1 Computer test</h5>
<p>(1) The disk is connected to the computer, if it is transferred using a USB interface, it is recommended to use a USB 3.0 interface to avoid misjudging the speed of the disk due to the speed of the interface.
(2) Copy a larger video file or group of files (recommended to exceed 4GB) to the disk and observe the average speed and stability of the speed, the following chart illustrates the speed of the disk:</p>

<h5>2.2 Device test</h5>
<p>(1) The disk is connected to the device and is already in the recording state. </p>

<p>(2) The device opens the login function and logs in as an administrator.</p>

<p>(4) Select the disk to be speed tested and click Start Test.</p>
