<h2>I. Summary Description</h2>
<p>Software upgrade: When the device software fixes problems and updates, the new version of the software needs to be upgraded, the local can be directly used with the disk into the upgrade file, such as the device is not in the current operable range, you can use the platform upgrade, text command down, FTP offline upgrade and other ways to upgrade.</p>

<h2>II. Conditions of use</h2>
<p>1、The device needs at least one SD card with normal function. Locally, you can confirm the status by DEVIC STATE-Disk, and from a remote location, you can check the status of the disk by right-clicking the device number on CMSV6-Terminal.
2、The current upgrade version is consistent with the device model, and the version number needs to be inconsistent.
3、The device disk does not have more than one device model consistent with the upgrade program, otherwise it cannot be upgraded.
4、The upgrade version language should be consistent with the device, single English version, multi-language version, Chinese version.
5、TTS upgrade needs to ensure that the device can access the FTP server normally.</p>
<h2>III. Cautions</h2>
<p>1、Remote upgrade need to pay attention to the device network signal is good, such as not confirmed, can platform preview channel, text command to send text to see if the pull is normal.
2、Remote upgrade need to ensure that the device and FTP server can be accessed normally.</p>

<li>2.2. FTP server on the computer side, the device can use wired, LAN WIFI on line.</li>

<h3>2、Remote upgrades</h3>
<h4>Priority recommendation</h4>
<ul>
<li>The main remote upgrade methods are as follows: CMSV6 Device Upgrade (FTP)，WEB Device Upgrade，FTP command upgrade，CMSV6 Device Upgrade.</li>
<li>Recommended priority upgrade method:CMSV6 Device Upgrade (FTP) > WEB Device Upgrade > FTP command upgrade > CMSV6 Device Upgrade.</li>
<li><strong>Note</strong>: The following upgrade methods are common to the main program file (.sw), the microcontroller program file (.crc), and the extended program file (.ext).</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Conditions of use</strong>
CMSV6 Device Upgrade (FTP)：Requires the use of the CMSV6 platform client, Support JT808.
WEB Device Upgrade: Requires CMSV6 web terminal,Support JT808 and CMSV6 protocols.
FTP command upgrade：Requires a dedicated FTP server，Support JT808 and CMSV6 protocols.
CMSV6 Device Upgrade：Requires the use of the CMSV6 platform client, Support JT808 and CMSV6 protocols.</p>
<h4>2.1 CMSV6 Device Upgrade (FTP)</h4>
<p>Note: If CMSV6 does not show the option of device upgrade (FTP), you need to update the platform client. It is recommended to use this version and above.

<p><strong>Upgrade the file name deletion rule.</strong>
Since the platform uploads file names with limited byte length, you need to shorten the file name appropriately.

We upgrade files to keep A-E.F.sw
T8008-T22080506.16657.sw
Then according to the add prefix rule, the final file of the main program is named <strong>01_T8008-T22080506.16657.sw</strong></p>

Select the device number to be upgraded, right-click and select 808 Function Menu (you can also select TTS Voice) and click Text Information.</p>

<h4>2.4 CMSV6 Device Upgrade</h4>

<li>Select the upgrade file with the corresponding path.</li>
<li>Add a prefix to the upgrade file name and delete the middle paragraph, the original main program is named T8008-V21081301-V22012201-V22012201-T22080506.16657.sw, the main program file name is prefixed with <strong>01_T8008-T22080506.16657.sw</strong> </li>
<li>After you have done the above steps select the device number and click Upgrade.

<h5>B. JT 808 Protocol</h5>
<p>Note: Due to the limitation of network protocol, the upgrade file has the maximum limit, the transmission method is inefficient, and there is a greater probability of unreliable upgrade, so it is not recommended. Upgrade package size limit, cannot exceed 1023*65535/1024/1024=63.9365243912 (MB).</p>
<ol>
<li>Platform select the corresponding device number and right click to select Device Upgrade.</li>
<li>Select the upgrade file with the corresponding path.</li>
<li>The manufacturer ID is randomly filled in with 4 digits, and the firmware version number needs to be filled in with the upgrade file name (including the suffix).</li>
<li>Click Upload after you have done the above steps. After successful upload, select the device number and click Send.</li>

<h3>3、FTP offline batch upgrade</h3>

<p>4.3.1 Click OK to jump to the batch upgrade management page, if you want to batch upgrade, click to select the upgrade file, click Modify to bring up the upgrade information dialog box, you can modify the settings inside to save.</p>

<p>4.3.2 In the batch upgrade management interface, select a row in the upgrade rule file item list and click the "Delete" button, an upgrade information dialog box appears. In the upgrade information dialog box, click the "OK" button to complete the deletion of an upgrade rule file item.</p>

<li>If you add more than one upgrade task, the fileList.xml upgrade file will be automatically added within the fileList.xml upgrade file and will not regenerate a fileList.xml upgrade file.</li>
